The Ground Pounder Club has come a long way in the last decade.  Their racing program has been built around their #1 Rule:  HAVE FUN.  It's paid off in the long haul, as they've weather the storms and always come out stronger as a club and having more fun than ever.

2010 saw an early start to the racing season, as the usually rained out March race had beautiful weather.  Everyone was treated to a well groomed track, nice on-road layout, sweet short track oval, and a very fun Slash course with jumps.

For 2010 the GP Club has made many changes to the classes.  They've added and F1 class, added a Short Course Truck class, switched the oval classes to single cell Lipo (17.5 & 10.5), changed 1/12 On-Road to 17.5 single cell Lipo, updated the sedan classes to 2 cell Lipo only (17.5 & 13.5).  Also, they have updated their sound system and plan on a trailer (drivers stand) overhaul and other minor changes.  Judging by the first race, new Club Prez Eric Wildt, has things staying on the right track and looking for improvements to make.

We're looking forward to a great 2010 season with the GP club and hope to see you out at the races!
