The Sonoma County Scale Rock Crawlers is a group that hosts R/C Rock Crawler events on the second Sunday of the month. Their base of operations is usually Flat Rock in Santa Rosa.
In February, they got together and hosted a 100 gate course! I'd guess it was an 1/8th mile of Flat Rock fun, named the Dog-Run! The course covered just about every type of terrain a scale enthusiast could want .... Rocks, dirt, hill climbs, rocks, water crossings, trail sections, more rocks ... It was awesome!
Classes were separated into 1.9 and 2.2 and the fast guys in each class finished the course in under 15 minutes! There was some serious trail hustle going on! There were many great vehicles to check out, some great driving to witness, and a ton of fun was had by all.
