The Wine Country Flyers Float Fly #3 was yet another enjoyable day at Sal's Lake.  The weather was picture perfect, with blue skies and light winds.  The lake was glass smooth at times and everyone seemed to get their fair share of flight time.

There's always interesting airplanes to see.    I enjoyed watching the WWI fliers on floats, they look great in the air.  There did seem to be a lot of dunking going on, with many slow sticks ending upside down, a few pontoons separating from wings and one major crash (nice to see John Reede back out flying, even if he had a little bad luck!)  I didn't stay the whole day, so my photos are a little limited this time.

As always, it's great to be flying model planes, at the lake, with friends.  The WCF Club hosts family oriented events, where all are welcome.  I was still chasing gremlins out of my Mulitplex Mentor, and finally got one great flight in before having to leave to go to work.  Now I'm really looking forward to the final Float Fly of the year, on September 3rd.
