Park Track Update #1:

After almost a year and quite a few meetings, the City of Santa Rosa Park and Rec. Dept has amended the master plan for A Place to Play park.  This amendment includes the RC Track.  This means the track is no longer temporary, it's officially part of the park.

With this good news comes a move to the track's new location, to fit better the master plan.  The move will happen within the next year and it means that improvements can be made to the RC Track.  We've already had a meeting with Park and Rec, outlining some of the things that would be great to have added to our RC Track.

So, now it's time for a meeting of the RC Track users.  The first meeting will be held on August 26th, at the new Round Table Pizza in Rohnert Park.  The meeting will start promptly at 7:15pm.  If you use the RC track, intend to use the RC track, please attend this meeting.  If you know anyone who uses the track, please spread the word of this meeting.

Overview of where things are and where they are headed.

Track improvement ideas and wish list.

Funding that wish list.

Getting a list together of who can donate to the cause (time, materials, equipment, etc ...).

Is it time to start a Part Track Club.
