The Scaler activity in Sonoma County continues! July 7th, 2012, the Sonoma County Scaler Crew hosted event #2 for it's summer series. Flat Rock once again played host to the event, with all new courses and tons of fun. The turnout was up for this Comp, 17 driver's total, but there we more spectators than I could count!
The attitude at the Scaler events it's awesome, laid back, and super friendly. There's always someone to lend a hand, offer assistance, spare parts, whatever ... The judging staff is 2nd to none, friendly, professional and official when needed.
A few companies stepped up to support the event: Team Novak, Jake's Performance Hobbies, S.O.S. Videos and Drunk Tank Films. Thank you one and all.

Nathan's Report: Nathan continues to improve his driving skills with his Wraith. Dad made some improvements to the rig, more to come soon! Nathan is a little intimidated by the courses and other crawler guys, but is quickly learning he can get the job done and enjoy it all. We'll be out for some Wednesday Night practice sessions soon and are really looking forward to the next event.
This is a great r/c activity for a 7 year old. Being outside, walking on the rocks, driving at a relaxed, yet technical, pace. A very family oriented side of r/c, I highly recommend it!
